The Town of Napa

With a population of close to 70,000, Napa has the largest population of all the towns in the Napa Valley, representing over half of the county’s population. The city of Napa has many restaurants and interesting places to shop for gifts, clothing or antiques.

Every Friday in season is the Farmer’s Market downtown which offers fresh farm produce, wine, food, entertainment and gifts. The Downtown Association and Riverfront projects are aiming to re-create the town center as an epicenter of the arts.

The world-famous Napa Valley Wine Train leaves from Napa for the trip up valley with guests enjoying fine wines and elegant dining as they pass vineyards, wineries and local orchards.

COPIA - the American Center for Wine Food and the Arts is a cultural institution museum and educational facility dedicated to exploring the distinctively American contribution to the character of wine and food and its close association with the arts and humanities.

The Napa Valley Opera house proves to be a source of musical and theatrical expression of local and world renowned artists with intention to the community efforts of providing unparalleled expression of the arts.
