The Town of Calistoga

Calistoga is the perfect destination for your wine country visit. Here you will find wine, water and wellness. There are over 25 world-class wineries within eight miles of downtown Calistoga. The town was founded in the late 1800's based on the healing properties of its geo-thermal waters. There are eight hot springs resorts and thirteen day spas in town. Calistoga is also the home of two famous water companies - Calistoga Mineral Water and Crystal Geyser.

Wellness can be enjoyed by soaking in our mineral waters, walking downtown, bicycling or hiking in our nearby state parks. We also have yoga studios and hot air ballooning. Calistoga has over 500 comfortable visitor accommodations and award-winning shops and restaurants.

Old Faithful Geyser, Robert Louis Stevenson State Park, Pioneer Cemetery, and the Sharpsteen Museum are all points of interest to be found in Calistoga amid the legendary wineries, shops, and famed restaurants.
